WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
SAFETY GUIDELINES
CHECK YOUR GEAR
Before leaving the bottom platform please check that you have all your gear:
1. Helmet
2. Gloves
3. Pully
4. Harness
CABLE HAND POSITIONS
Keep your hands in their position at all times.
This will help you stay facing forward down
the line.
1. Dominant Hand must be on the cable – open palm and used to press down as a brake.
2. Non-Dominant Hand must be on the pully and kept there.
DO NOT GRAB THE CABLE OR PLACE YOUR HAND IN FRONT OF THE PULLY
BRAKING ON THE LINE
Unless stated otherwise by a guide, DO NOT brake at the beginning of your journey.
Start breaking at the bottom of the line and watch for the guide’s hand signals:
1. Up and down = slow down
2. Arms wide = enjoy the ride
Lean back when approaching the break line.
END OF THE ZIPLINE
1. Grab the Red part of the break rope when shown.
2.Land on the platform and wait to be unclipped.
ALCOHOL
We reserve the right to refuse clients an opportunity on the zipline if alcohol has been consumed, or we suspect intoxication. The right is solely ours to determine and you may be subject to a breathalyser. This is done to ensure your complete safety on the zipline.
GOPRO AND GLASSES
A GoPro will only be allowed on the helmet or on the chest. You will not be able to hold it in your hands as you will need both hands on the cable. No glasses will be allowed on the zipline for safety reasons.
NO REFUND POLICY
This company has no refund policy. We will provide you with a voucher (valid for one year, excluding peak periods) if you are unable to complete the activity due to inclement weather.
LONG HAIR, BRAIDS & DREADLOCKS
Long hair, braids, and dreadlocks must be able to fit into the helmet. You will not be permitted to participate in the activity if it does not fit.
This is for your safety.
WEATHER AND YOUR EXPERIENCE
Weather conditions are unpredictable.
Strong winds and sometimes rain, affects the optimal operation at the zipline.
In these circumstances, the lead guide may make a decision to impose some weight restrictions or temporarily close the line.
If you are so affected, we will attempt to reschedule your zip for later the same day or the next day, and if this is not suitable, we will issue you with a voucher valid for one year (excluding peak periods).
These decisions are made for the safety and well-being of our clients.
